Glad to see you here! Let us introduce ourselves: we are vACC Lithuania, the Lithuanian subdivision of VATSIM - the place where aviation enthusiasts embrace their interest by means of flying and controlling traffic in the virtual skies.
As we represent the Lithuanian community, our goals include the provisioning of Air Traffic Service, education of new and existing VATSIM members as well as general popularization of aviation within the territory of Lithuania.
We are a virtual organization representing the Republic of Lithuania in the VATSIM online aviation network.
The main goal of our organization is to provide consistent and professional Air Traffic Service within the designated area of Lithuania, which corresponds to the real-life area of Vilnius FIR.
In order to achieve this goal we provide proper training and examination to our member Air Traffic Controllers.
We are not only a group of people providing service, but also a community of aviation enthusiasts seeking self-development, and we welcome anyone who shares our interests.
We are a part of the VATSIM online aviation network, operating throughout the world, gathering aviation enthusiasts by means of flight simulation
We are a part of the VATSIM European division - VATEUD, which strives to provide a high level of professionalism within the virtual skies of Europe
We keep a list of the most useful freeware and payware sceneries for Lithuanian airports
We constantly maintain a list of actual aeronautical charts to cover Lithuanian airports
One of our main goals is to provide ATC coverage over the designated airspace of Lithuania
We provide training and arrange for examination of Air Traffic Controllers within the VATSIM network
The vACC Lithuania Constitution outlines the operational principles and rules governing our organisation
The vACC Lithuania Training Policy defines the procedures utilised for ATCO training within our organisation
